One example of our commitment is the introduction of our Beverage Cap, which is lighter than the average market closure. By utilizing lightweight materials, we aim to minimize resource consumption and decrease our carbon footprint.

Furthermore, we are proud to have developed the SafeGard Plus cap, which incorporates calcium carbonate (CaCO3) as a resin additive. This innovative approach allows us to reduce the reliance on traditional resins while maintaining the high-quality standards our customers expect. By incorporating environmentally friendly alternatives into our products, we strive to make a positive contribution to the reduction of plastic waste.

In shipping, we utilize the space in the truck and continually review our packaging and maximization of the cap count in our product lines. These practices allow us to reduce our packaging materials while shipping the maximum number of parts on a shipment. This also reduces the number of trucks and fuel being used in the delivery process which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition to product innovations, we have implemented a range of internal programs. By actively promoting recycling and waste reduction within our operations, we are working towards a circular economy model and fostering a sustainable future. Any internally unused regrind material is sent to a local recycler for use in household items such as flowerpots and plastic bags.
